UC glamour

ONcE upon a time lived two celebrities who resided beside the main door of Wellness Center. They were beautiful, gorgeous and simply irresistible to look at. Their jealousy of each other's beauty has sparked a secret war to outdo each other. So Miss Union Camp decided to hire Shing and Justin for her extreme makeover job.

First Sign-Ups!

Today marked the first day of sign-ups!

TWO GUYS signed up.

It is a flying start to a great number of sign-ups.
Open House saw an increase in number of freshies leaving their contacts as compared to last year's too!

Justin was over the moon this evening! (pun intended)

That's considered pretty fast!
Registration just opened on Saturday!

Open House 07

It's the annual open hse once again! They just luv to reuse e flying stick men...

Did you know that NUS has a mascot??? Well, I only found out today. So did you!

Here we are finally...

These 2 peeps dun know how to hold a sword apparently... haha.. It was one of the group mascots for last year's camp. So is e darth vader behind with bugs bunny teeth. The colour for today was green.. Look at Regina's cool green n white camo pants!

The recruitment lists are all filled by gals names.. Men are becoming more precious.. Yeah Shout out all you men!

Pardon for the blurry shot... Because Regina was holding the white noticeboard and it was reflecting all the light into the camera.. ha

Last day of councillors interview

Yesterday was the very last day of councillors interview.. Thanks to Flabby, Pupper or Puffer???, Pom Pom and the rest for all the laughter we had during the interviews... For the group who did the Mai Yo Ai Yo cheer I think there's real! room for improvement though it was a commendable effort.

During the interview (an actual incident)......

Me: "So what's the purpose of union camp?"
A guy: "To have fun."
A girl: "To bring back the fun we had last year."
Another smarter guy: "To allow the freshmen to know other people from different faculties."
Another smarter girl: "To allow the freshmen to know more about the school."
Effortless answer: "Above all."
Me: "uh..."


Group Flabby (You peeps change your name soon yar!) at the corner. Yung Chuan from Flabby gave the perfect ten year series cum politically correct answer for the purpose of union camp. *****CLAP CLAP CLAP*****

Me: "So what's the purpose of union camp?"
Yung: "Union camp marks the start of National University of Singapore's Freshmen Orientation Projects. It is the first project among the 5 projects and it aims to bring the freshmen closer to the student bodies ."
Me: "So what are the 5 projects?"
Yung: "They are Union camp, matric fair, FIC, Project X and ???"

In the meantime at SRC, preparing for the booth tmr. Shing pretending to be busy and sweaty cos I told him to act for the camera.. Ha! U got punked!

Councillor interview

Councillor interviews have been ongoing this week from 5 to 9th March at NUSSU Secretariat CR2..


The board of directors from left:
VPD Kim, Treasurer Johannes, PD Emily and Programmes head Patrick.


Two OGLs from CAP 5... Why are they looking so serious?? Oh... They were paying close attention to what Emily was saying..


Here enters the entire CAP 5... Mostly freshies from last year's union camp.. That's the spirit!!
